LINDON, Utah —November 23, 2007—Wavetronix proudly announces that local adoption of the SmartSensor HD has increased across the United States and internationally, as more agencies discover the benefits of high-definition radar.
Mike Rose, Wavetronix vice president of sales, says HD's popularity will continue to climb. “Agencies recognize the value of SmartSensor HD as a consistently accurate, extremely reliable device,” Rose says. “More and more it is becoming the sensor of choice as it continues meeting and exceeding performance specifications.”
Several major projects have already selected SmartSensor HD for traffic detection, including Kansas City SCOUT; CalTrans District 8; the Daytona Area Smart Highway (DASH) project; the Utah Department of Transportation for the Legacy Highway project; and international locations such as China, London and Moscow.
